For a long time, I thought marketing was a dirty word. But the problem is not with marketing—my problem was lack of clarity and lack of confidence.
Believe it or not, marketing is actually really easy.
If you want to share a product or service just follow these three steps.
1. Have a clearly defined product or service.
2. Figure out who you can help with this product or service.
3. Connect with this group in a personal way.
Marketing is not as complicated as we often make it out to be.
Perhaps the problem often lies in the very first step. If you don’t have a clearly defined product or service, that makes everything else confusing. If you don’t believe in the product or service COMPLETELY, how can you ever spread the message?
It is much easier to start with step one than it is step two or three. Focus on what YOU do best and then go from there.
One more thing…
The best marketing is storytelling. We all have a story to share. Stories are what connect us together like nothing else.
How do you approach marketing? Need help with this? Fire me an email or leave a comment. Thanks!
