Hi, I’m Jim.

Glad you’re here. I’m an author, editor, and champion for writers.

For a long time, I ignored that was creative. I didn’t realize that I was a writer or that I had a story to tell. I settled for the status quo, and it took a nervous breakdown for me to come to terms with the fact that I am a writer.

Now I am in love with writing and the power of stories. But early on in my writing career, I didn’t know how or what to do to be successful. I felt alone and overwhelmed. I needed someone to be my writing coach or writing mentor. This is where my website comes in.

Here are a few questions I seek to answer on this blog:

  • How do writers establish good writing habits?
  • What are some fresh ways write better stories?
  • How can writers find their voice and authentically build an audience?
  • What does it take to write a book? (Hint this course will help!)
  • How can I improve my writing?

Everything I write has a practical, helpful tone to help make you a better writer.

Thank you for coming alongside me in your writing journey.

I’d love to hear from you–drop me a line by clicking on the CONTACT ME menu up above or drop me an email here.

Talk to you soon.

Here are a few books I’ve written:

Ready Aim Fire— This book is for anyone who wants to accomplish their goals. This book is written in a practical, encouraging tone. Whether you want to start a business or write a novel, this book is FOR YOU!

Focus Booster— This book is the sequel to Ready Aim Fire and is all about improving your level of focus, boosting your energy and helping you make the most of your time.

Jim – is there a way to contact you? I am also in the Nashville area and am part of the board of a local writers group. Would love to network with you.
